Community Room (Room 120)

Memory loss and dementia have become topics of conversation within our society, causing a sense of anxiety and uncertainty with many. It is difficult to navigate the various aspects of potential memory loss and its impact on the individual and his/her family. This presentation will differentiate between age-related memory loss and a cognitive disorder, identify the various diagnoses, and provide guidance on how the individual and family can respond to the impact of memory loss with the family structure. This presentation is intended for those concerned with personal memory loss or a family member's cognitive changes, individuals with or without a diagnosis of dementia, and family members/caregivers providing support.
