Children’s Music at First Church
We find music to be one of our greatest ways to express our worship at First Church. And not just for the adults. Below you’ll see a few opportunities we offer for children to get involved in music.
Thursday mornings in Hale Chapel from 9:30-10:00 a.m. running Sept. 13th – Dec. 13th and Jan. 17th – May 16th, (NO class Mar 28th) for the Winter/Spring session. This is an opportunity for a parent/grandparent/nanny or other adult and their tiny tot. You and your tiny tot will move, sing, and play with different Orff and percussion instruments during an action-packed 30 min. This is a great way to bond with your tiny tot and to introduce them to movement and music.
Christmas Musical
5 years - 8th grade
The Children will put on a musical at Christmas time during our 9:15am worship service on Sunday, Dec. 9th. Rehearsals will be held on Sundays from 12-2pm starting Sunday, Oct. 14th.
Children's Spring Musical
5 years - 8th grade
The Children will put on a Spring Musical on the Sunday after Easter, April 28th at the 9:15am worship service. Information will be coming out in January with more information on auditions and rehearsal schedules.
