The United Methodist Men of First Church invite all men to join them in their annual mission trip, which will take place this year during the weeks of September 17-23 and September 24-30. We will again be working with the Appalachia Service Project (ASP) serving in the eastern part of Tennessee & Kentucky and western Virginia. Our activities will be with the “new build” program of ASP and will involve the exterior and interior framing of a new home for a needy family as determined by ASP. All men are welcome to participate no matter their skill level.

The cost for the trip is $375 for a week. An adjusted price for anyone wanting to serve both weeks is available. We will be preparing our meals in the camp kitchen, and eating out one evening. Each man will be responsible for their own meals on the days of travel to and from Camp Placid.
