Wednesday Evening June 14th VBS Celebration! 6-8 p.m.
VBS is one of the most exciting and important times of the year for kids. They look forward to summer fun, games, friends and so much more! For all of us “grownups”, VBS is an opportunity to create an intentional time and space for kids of all ages to hear and learn God’s word. VBS is a time to provoke wonder and discovery in children about what it means to be a Jesus follower, and VBS is a time for everyone (kids, youth, and adults) to build and strengthen community and friendships.
First Church’s VBS 2023 theme is Pets Unleashed: where we discover Jesus cares “fur” us! We’ll enjoy exploring God’s Word in fresh new ways, and you’re invited to join in! There are plenty of opportunities to share your gifts: from beforehand-behind-the-scenes options to hands-on, days-of, having loads of fun with all the kids choices.
