Our traditional service is 9:15-10:15 a.m. and our contemporary service is 10:45-11 a.m.
Our Sunday morning Children’s Ministry is called Kids First. We offer childcare up to age 2, then children’s programming up to age 11. We also have Junior and Senior High youth groups. If you have special needs kids we can make accomodations for you. If you’d like more info, contact Karen Klaus.
Yes! We celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of every month. All are welcome to the Lord’s Table whether you are Methodist or any other brand of the Christian faith.
Pastor Scott Field has been serving as Lead Pastor of First Church since 2013. He has served United Methodist congregations in northern Illinois since 1980. He is a native of the Chicago area, graduate of Hope College, Gordon-Conwell Seminary, the Divinity School of Duke University, and Asbury Seminary. Besides greeting Pastor Scott at Sunday morning worship, get better acquainted at First Things First.
Pastor Cesar has been serving First United Methodist Church as a Associate Pastor since 2016, he has served in churches in Northern Illinois Conference since 2002 in a different roles. He graduated from Lewis University with a major of Organizational Leadership and is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity in Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary.
