The Power Of Story

The Power Of Story

This morning, we’re continuing our teaching on Proclaiming Christ in a Secular World. And how can we best share our Faith with others? We do it, by sharing our story. That means “you share your story.”

The general idea is “I once was lost, but now I’m found, was blind but now I see.” It’s the tale of who you were before knowing Christ and who you are now that you do. It may be simple, it may be complex, it may be miraculous, it may seem ordinary. It may be just starting or has been ongoing since you were young. Your story puts flesh and blood on the bones of ideas about God and Jesus and faith. Your story is the BEST thing you’ve got for proclaiming Christ. If you can share your story, you have all you need.
