Mission Deep Sea!
First Church VBS in 2020 happens in your own backyard!
A crew of deep-sea explorers from the Sea Exploration Agency are on a mission to explore the deepest depths of the ocean. They are in search of knowledge about its Creator! You are invited to come along as a S.E.A. agent in training! As our crew travels deeper and deeper below the surface, experience the wonders of creation, face a few challenges, and discover that knowing our Creator doesn’t require a special badge or a submarine. Our faith grows deeper when we spend time with God, spend time with others, use our gifts to serve, and share our stories of faith.
First Church has planned to pack up all the Mission Deep Sea games, crafts, science, songs, Bible story lessons, and discussion guides for your whole family to explore and enjoy together. The First Church VBS Team will provide videos your family can access anytime, anywhere. We’re also offering two, live Zoom sessions, supplies, and even VBS tee shirts. Your family will get to dive deep into God’s love and have tons of fun with Mission Deep Sea this summer!
- VBS is FREE to all families
- Registration is online: open June 2 – June 14
- Drive-through supply pick-up at First Church: July 11, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or July 12, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. (Contact Karen for alternative pick-up if needed)
- Sessions 1 and 2: Week of July 13
- Sessions 3 and 4; Week of July 20
- Session 5 Family Celebration and Family Mission Challenge: Week of July 27
