Winter Clothing Drive
by First Church
First Church has an ongoing partnership with Coventry Elementary School in Crystal Lake. Each fall, we provide a number of school children with much needed new winter clothing. Thank you for taking the time to care for these children in Christ’s name. Here’s how you participate:
- Click here to sign up (select the child you wish to shop for and get a list of requested items and sizes).
- Shop for requested items as best you can, specific items listed are needed most.
- Remove all price tags and place them with a return/gift receipt in an envelope with the child’s number written on the front. The social worker will handle any size or return issues.
- Place your receipt envelope inside the bag of clothing.
- Mark the outside of the bag with child’s number.
- Return purchases to First Church in Wesley Hall on Sundays, or the office on weekdays by October 23.
