The second service is a contemporary service with a praise team and more casual atmosphere. First Church is the oldest church in Crystal Lake. Though we’ve been worshipping God and serving our community for over 175 years, we look to the future of ministry in the greater Crystal Lake area. Our mission can be summed up in 3 short statements. We are:

Every Sunday, we offer multiple experiences for kids and families. Kids are always welcome in worship, but we have age-appropriate programs (Kids First) that run concurrently to our services.

Our church has a “come as you are” atmosphere. You will see some dressed up; some dressed casual. We have no expectations for attire. And if you're watching from home, anything goes!
