Faith Promise begins with a prayer
“Lord, how much would you give through me that you would not normally give to me for the sake of healing the world in Jesus’ name?”
How does God answer that prayer?
Most frequently, it seems, God provides this extra money in one or more of three ways when we begin to pray:
1. Re-aligning our personal budget so that funds formerly spent in other ways can be re-directed to the Faith Promise Fund.
2. New opportunities to produce income.
3. Unexpected money that “shows up”.
We give what you give
First Church doesn’t have “missions” in our budget. When you give to Faith Promise, the money goes directly to our mission partners.
It’s not just giving, it’s also serving
Many of our mission partners offer hands-on experiences for anyone willing to give of their time and abilities.
